Last updated · May 2026
In short
- This site is provided free, on a best-efforts basis, by a small UK registered charity.
- We try to keep the information accurate, but we are nine unpaid trustees and we may sometimes be late.
- You are welcome to reproduce our public documents for non-commercial use within the ancient parish of Arnold.
- Use of the site does not, on its own, create any contractual relationship between you and the trust.
- The site is governed by the laws of England and Wales.
1. Who provides this site
This site, arnoldreliefinneed.org, is provided by Arnold Relief in Need, a UK registered charity (number 220057), of 73 Arnot Hill Road, Arnold, Nottingham, NG5 6LN. By using this site you agree to the terms set out below. If you do not agree, please do not use the site.
2. Use of the site
You may read, link to, and quote from this site for any lawful purpose. You may reproduce our public documents — referral forms, parish boundary maps, the trustees' guide for parish workers — freely for non-commercial use within the ancient parish of Arnold. You may not reproduce the site's design or photographs for commercial use without our written consent.
3. Accuracy
We try to keep the information on this site accurate, and we update it each quarter. We are, however, nine unpaid trustees with day jobs and grandchildren, and we may sometimes be late. We make no warranty that the site is free of errors or interruptions. If you spot something wrong, please write to [email protected] and we will correct it as soon as we can.
4. Donations
Donations made through this site are processed by our payment processor and reach the trust's bank account in the normal way. The trust is not currently registered with HMRC for Gift Aid, so no Gift Aid declaration is given or accepted. Donations are not refundable as a matter of routine, but the trustees will consider any refund request made in writing within fourteen days of the gift.
5. Volunteering and grant referrals
Submitting a volunteer enquiry or referring a household through this site does not, on its own, create a contractual relationship between you and the trust. The trustees consider each enquiry on its merits and may decline any application. We try to reply within five working days for volunteer enquiries, three working days for contact-form messages, and four working days for hardship referrals during the winter round.
6. External links
This site contains a small number of links to external bodies — the Charity Commission register, the Information Commissioner's Office, and the websites of our standing parish partners. We are not responsible for the content of those sites; we link to them in good faith because they are useful to the work.
7. Intellectual property
The trust's name and logo are our own. The text on this site is © Arnold Relief in Need, 2026, unless otherwise noted. Editorial photographs on the site are licensed for our use only.
8. Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, the trust accepts no liability for any loss or damage arising from your use of this site. Nothing in these terms excludes liability for fraud, death, or personal injury arising from the trust's negligence, or any other liability that cannot lawfully be excluded.
9. Changes to these terms
We review these terms each spring at the trustees' quarterly meeting. Any material change will be flagged with a new 'last updated' date at the top of this page.
10. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. The courts of England and Wales have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute arising from them, save that nothing in these terms affects the right of any party to bring a complaint before a competent regulator such as the Charity Commission or the Information Commissioner's Office.
