Every pound goes out as a grant within the year. No salaries. No overheads.
Arnold Relief in Need has no paid staff and almost no running costs. The trust pays for an annual insurance policy and a small printing bill for the Wassail letters. Everything else is granted out within the financial year, into the parish of Arnold.
Other ways to give
By cheque, by standing order, or in your will.
The trust accepts donations by several routes. For any of the methods below, please write to the office at 73 Arnot Hill Road and we will send you the relevant paperwork.
By cheque
A cheque to the trust.
Cheques payable to 'Arnold Relief in Need' may be posted to 73 Arnot Hill Road, Arnold, Nottingham, NG5 6LN. A small receipt will be returned in the next post.
By standing order
A regular gift.
A standing-order form is available on request — please write to [email protected] and the honorary treasurer will post one out.
A gift in your will
A legacy.
A small but growing number of our long-term donors have left a legacy to the trust. The chair will be glad to speak with you and your solicitor — please write in confidence.
Where your gift goes
Granted out within the year, into the parish.
Because we have no paid staff and almost no running cost, the share of every pound that reaches a household is, in practice, the largest part of it.

of every £1
Trustee insurance and small printing costs.
